The JQ Personal Journal Collection: Jessie Bannon
By: Babe
Part 1
Well, I've decided to start my journal by talking about all of my friends
(what a great way to start.) They all are very special to me. Kinda like my
adjusto-family. I haven't been with some of them all my life but I still
think of them as family.
My Mom, Estella Vazquez: She is my mom. What else can I say? She is a great
woman who I respect greatly. I just wish I could spend some more time with
her though. After my dad took the job with the Quests I'm always globe
trotting with them so I hardly have time to see her.
When I do see her though it's like we're sisters. I feel that after the
divorce we've become closer. I don't know why but it's truw. I can tell her
anything and she will tell me anything I want to know. I guess that's how it
is.
My Dad, Roger Bannon: Hmmm. This is going to be hard to explain but I'll try
my best. My dad, originally from Texas, was involved with this orginaization
called "the agency." No one knows about it (he still hasn't told me what he's
done there.)He's always reminicing about the "Agency Days" but he says he'll
never go back to it. Why would be? He has all the action he needs right here.
My dad is a really nice man. He's all I could ask for in a father....
Just don't get him angry or he'll be, as he says "Madder than a bull when the
world's painted red." I can understand why he can be a little bit over-
protective though. I mean wouldn't you be if your daughter was dragracing a
risk-taking blond haired boy down a steep cliff? I think he still likes my
mother, the same goes for her, they just couldn't find time to stay married
though. With my mom canstantly finding something to dig up and my dad having
to sav the world 10 time over they couldn't stay together. Somethimes I used
to wonder how it would be if they were still together how it would be like,
but now I know that it all for the best.
Dr. Benton Quest: There's not enough to say about this genious. All of his
inventions, accomplishments, and other great things about him wouldn't even
fit in a whole set of encyclopedias. He is the man my dad used to work for. I
say used to because now they are more "buddies" than employer and employee.
He kept on getting threats when he traveled the world and at home so he hired
my dad as a bodyguard.
I don't think there is a moment in the day when he's not thinking about
making a new invention or renovating an old one. This man took a simple
computer and upgraded it until it reached the virtualy reality world known as
Questworld. It is the greatest thing I have seen. It can't be described.
One of his greatest inventions though is his time machine called
"Rachel." Rachel is the name of his departed wife. He made it so he could
mabey save her from dying. He never used it though because he knew that the
future was intertwined in so many ways that he could not mess with it. What
happened happened. Dr. Quest is a very emotional person. I think it is
because of his wife.
Best Friend #1: Hadji Sighn: Hadji, hadji, hadji.. He's a tough guy to talk
about. You'lll never know what's on his mind if he doesn't tell you. He
thinks about everything before he does something. Dr. Quest adopted him from
India after being on a trip there. He saw him with a man name Pasha and
offered to take the boy after talking it over. Pasha told Dr. Quest that he
was an intellegent boy but he did not have the money or resources to take him
to school or anything. Dr. Quest promised him to take care of Hadji as if he
was one of his own, and he does.
Hadji has a saying for everything, whetere we're hanging off of a cliff
or just sitting around. The weird thing is that he hasn't repeated one of
them.. ever.. I've been paying close attention so when he does repeat them I
can make a big deal out of it.
I used to like Hadji. I don't know exactly why but I had a major crush
on him for a long while. Now it' just a whole lot of admiration on his part.
he's a grat guy and I look up to him.. I can only think of him as a big
brother than as a romantic interest. Anyways he has a thing for women who
just happen to be phycopaths. I don't have any idea how a guy as smart as him
can fall such strange women.. To each his own I guess.
Best Friend #2: Jonny Quest: Now this part is going to be a bit long since
it's always Jonny I'm fighting with, hanging with, or competing with. Jonny,
unlike Hadji, acts upon impulse. I don't think he's actually looked at half
of the things he has done or he would be wearing the big white coat with long
sleeves. I'm talking about running after a man in a blizzard in the alps
without knowing where he's going or how he'd get back. The strange thing
about it is that I always end up following him. Mabey just to prove that he's
not the only risk taker.
Jonny's one of the funniest people I have met. I don't know if he
purposely acts like a dolt at times or is just plain idiotic. He thinks he
can show me up half of the time but it ends up that I teach him a lesson or
too. Jonny is a strong minded peron. So am I. That's probably why we are
practically always fighting about something or another. I once had a fight
with him about how long a peice of cheese had been in the refridgerator (don't
ask.)
Jonny also has a side to him that's the sweet side. Even though he
doesn't show it often, I know it is there. Like after I realised that Hadji
probably didn't feel the same way about me, and Jonny foud out how bummed I
was, he took me out to icecream and tryed his hardest to make me feel better.
He also is very emmothional about his mother. He has a picture of her on his
nightstand and looks at it every night before he goes to bed.
If Hadji's by big brother Jonny's the boy down the street. I can't think
of him as the brother type. He's more of the best-friend from grade school
type. I can count on him, and he can count on me. That's how it is, and
that's how it always will be. Girls from my school often ask me how it is to
live with him. I just smile and answer "It's a whole lot of fun."
Myself: Jessica Bannon: Well, I think after you've read about my friends that
it's only proper to know about me. Despite what everyone tells me I'm not the
tomboy that everyone picks me out to be. I just don't like to do the same
thing over and over again. I like adventure and will take a risk or too. I'm
not one of those girls that sit, paint their nails, and talk on the phone all
day. I'm a take charge kinda gal.
I also like to tweak around with the computer alittle. I like to see
what games I can think of using QuestWorld and that kind of stuff.
If you even need to find me I'll either be in the light house working on
quest world, hover board racing with Jonny, competing with Jonny doing
smething, or talking to Hadji about the wonders of the universe. As you see I
usually don't have time to sit and think. I guess that's why I think this
journal is good for me..
Well, since I've covered all of the bases family wise, I think I'll go on
to some of the other stuff that's been happing to obscure adverntures to some
of the well known ones. Here we go.....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, that's part one. I hope you liked it. Sorry it took so long to post but
I had mid terms... ::gag:: Ah, well. Please comment. PLease.....
