In ancient China, when the days were filled with bloodshed, and the
nights filled with secrecy, the evil Zin dynasty ruled with an iron
fist. Its emperor, the most ruthless and cunning of men plagued the
citizen's of Tao with terror and massacre.
Their only hope were a group of elite fighters, skilled with the
ancient art of Tao. They must over through the Zin dynasty and their
reign of terror to restore peace and prosperity to everyone.

EPISODE ONE: untitled as of now...

"Mei-shin!!!!" a loud voice boomed from the kitchen of the ancestral
home of the Jense clan in Zhou Zing province, in the western state of
Tao.
"I'm coming!!!!" a brunette girl absent mindedly screamed as she
continued to watch her older brother and their kung-fu master Race
Ban'nui practice determinedly.
Mei-shin was always interested in the martial arts, and Master Race
has been secretly teaching her, since women knowing the art was not
very popular. She was happy Master Race was a more mordern man though
and taught her everything he knew, but of course her brother Mi'kel
was much more skilled.
"Mei-shin!!!! Lai-a!!! Come and help your mama in the kitchen!!!"
She got up frustratedly and trudged to the kitchen where her mother
was busily preparing tonight's meal. The aroma of steamed rice, soy
chicken, shrimp dumplings, sweet and sour pork were filling her
nostrils.
"What do you want ma???" Mei-shin grumbled as she stood in the
doorway, leaning against the door.
Her mother sighed tiredly and shook her head in disapproval. "I want
you to run into town and buy me a dozen century eggs," she instructed
Mei-shin as she handed her a few pieces of silver. "Now hurry! You
only have two more hours till sundown! I still have to finish
cooking!!!!"
Mei-shin snatched the money from her mother's palm and sulkily walked
out of their home and onto the road leading into town.
She gazed at the afternoon sky, a magnificent pallet of soft blue,
yellow, and pink hues, all mixing together. Quite a beautiful sight
indeed. She had watched countless sunsets from her small bedroom
window, and wondered if this was all the beauty she would ever see.
Being a woman in Tao did not allow her much of an adventurous life.
She was expected to stay at home to cook, clean, and eventually raise
children. It was like she was being drowned but she was helpless to
save herself. It was frustrating to think that this was all she could
be while men were allowed to travel and seek their destiny, she
refused to believe that she was fated to marry and be a homemaker.
"Over my dead body," Mei-shin vowed as she finally walked into the
city and looked for the shop that sold the century eggs.
"Ahh, Mei-shin! Welcome, what does your mother need??" asked a kindly
old gentleman named Wong Fei who owned the store.
"Oh not much, ma needs a dozen century eggs," Mei-shin replied as she
browsed around the store. "When are you getting the latest edition of
the Zin-Tao newspaper?"she asked casually.
The Zin-Tao newpapaer was an unofficial newspaper with the latest
news from the Tao capital city of Zangria. Mei-shin was an avid reader
of the Zin-Tao, her favorite columnist was a woman under the name of
Zhana Q. Now one knew how Zhana looked like, because she always sent
her articles through messangers. Mei-shin admired a woman who made
herself known in a world ruled by male sex. She often ridiculed the
Zin dynasty, and the emperor could do nothing about it
because no one knows where the Zin-Tao was being produced.
"I'm not sure yet Mei-shin, "Wong Fei answered softly as he wrapped
the century eggs for her. "You'd better run home, the streets aren't
safe for a woman walking home alone."
Mei-shin forced a smile and paid for the eggs. "I'll hurry," she
called out as she sped out of the store and ran back to where she came
from.
Once one her way back home, Mei-shin slowed down and frowned angrily.
How sexist, she thought frustratedly as she continued to walk, not
aware of the darkening sky.
"Hey pretty girl," a voice suddenly called out breaking Mei-shin's
thoughts. "Why don't you come along with me and my friend here..."
Mei-shin looked up at the two men icily. Typical males, she muttered.
"Look I really have to get home," she said through her gritted teeth.
"Lookie Wae, I think she wants to play!" a man laughed with his
enormous belly bouncing up and down as he chuckled hysterically.
The two men moved closer to her and were about to attack when she
jumped and they ran into each other. It was Mei-shin's turn to laugh
as the two drunk men charged at her again in anger. She ducked and
kicked them in their ankles then pushed them into the mud.
"I really have to be getting home," she sighed as she began walking
back.
"YOU B*TCH!!!! Come back here!!!!!" the short fat man screamed as
Mei-shin looked back and glared at them.
She did three backflips and came in between them. She then punched
the short man hard across the face using the century eggs, while she
threw a sidekick to the stomache which sent him flying back into the
mud.
The short man shook his head and angrily tried to punch Mei-shin
but she was too fast and managed to grasp his fist and push it back
making him punch his own face.
"Dang! I'm late!!!!" Mei-shin screamed as she ran off, leaving the
two men dazed in the mud.

"SO there you are!!!!!" Mi'kel exclaimed as Mei-shin entered their
house with mud on her clothes. "What happened???" he asked worriedly.
"Oh I err...fell in the mud while running here," she lied as she
gave the broken eggs to her mother who was cursing like hell as she
ran off back into the kitchen.
"Well go and change Mei-shin so we can have dinner," her father
told her as she nodded and rushed to her room to change out of the muddy
clothes.
Dinner was delicious as always, but Mei-shin didn't have much of
an appetite that night. She was unusually silent as she ate her steamed
fried rice.
"Hey, Mei what's wrong?" her brother asked her quietly.
"Huh?" she said as she looked up at her brother's concerned face.
"No, nothing's wrong Mi'kel," she replied, forcing a smile across her
face.
"Your a horrible liar Mei-shin," he smiled kindly at her as she
genuinely smiled back at him.
Suddenly their door was barged open and soldiers rushed in carrying
spears and swords. A tall man came out and approached the startled
family.
"Parlai Jense, you and your son have been accused of working with the
resistance against his majesty emperor Zin of the Zin dynasty. You are
to come with us for questioning at once."
"Dad??" Mei-shin asked in confusion and worriedness.
"Parlai!!!!!" her mom screamed as the soldiers dragged Parlai and
Mi'kel from their home.
"Mei-shin, you are now the head of the family, take care of mama, be
strong I shall see you again," Mi'kel told her as a soldier punched
him to be quiet.
"NOOO!!! YOu have no right to take them!!!" Mei-shin cried out as she
stood up angrily and tried to get to her brother and father.
"Mei-shin!!!" her father scolded. "Stop it! Do as your brother says,
don't get yourself killed. We're counting on you."
"Okay enough of this touching family session! You two shut up and you
fiest girl don't trouble us unless you want to be put into prison as
well," the soldier sneered as Mei-shin struggled to keep a straight
face.
She wasn't sure if she was going to scream of cry. Her mother kept
bawling and bawling as Mei-shin watched the soldiers ride off with her
father and brother into the darkness.
