Class D Destroyer. Equipped with rockets, lasers and mines, and also has special microwave gear that interferes with reactors and communications. The U378s like to go in for the 'soft kill', destroying their enemies indirectly.

Supposedly faster than Hammerheads (debatable) and have a higher rate of climb. Seem to favor a spinning attack when firing. There are at least two versions of fighters. The red Chig fighters have the ability to pass through the gravitational wash of a black hole.

- Sentry Satellite

Placed in orbit around Chig holdings, the sentry satellite uses a system similar to IFF to perform recognition on incoming ships. It is heavily armed, but not well defended (easy to blow up).
