The initial reason for StateTapeSeller@AOL.Com was to provide a way for fans of The State to be able to enjoy their brilliance once again, and now, a less expensive and more energy efficient method of obtaining these episodes has arrived - the method of internet downloading - which pretty much makes StateTapeSeller an obsolete service. Thanks to all those who helped with support, and long live The State!
I was e-mailed by a certain member of the State who will just happens to be known as Kevin Allison (in some states). He visited the page for the first time and was "quite flattered." He asked me to advertise his free-lance message writing service that he does outside of acting, so here is the ad:
HOLY BEJESUS! KEVIN ALLISON DOES FREELANCE WRITING! Want an unexpected ad? Website short o' the sharper bite? Need a greeting Hallmark wouldn't dream of? For seasoned reviews, clever how-to's and damn near anything made up of words, Stateman Allison's out there. Click on this and see what happens: siouxpurrkev@earthlink.net. And for the love of balls, pay me buckets!
I called MTV and talked to one of the people in charge of production, and he said that if they recieve enough letters then they will show reruns of The State. If you want to call and talk to him personaly, then here is the number:
1-212-258-8700 extension 19
Go ahead and call. Tell MTV that you want The State back, but if you don't, then at least write to MTV. The address is :
MTV Series Development
1515 Broadway, 24th Fl.
New York, NY 10036
Clog their mail box, and keep their phones ringing.
