1904 - One year after being the first in flight, the Wrigh brothers attend another gay pride march near Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Air travel would suffer a serious setback because nobody wanted to travel "the same way that gay people do".

1979 - Boris Hernandez, of Uganda, becomes the first person of Japanese ancestry to win an award in the adult film industry. Hernandez won best supporting actor for his role in Star Whores.
