876 B.C. - First Toga party held in Rome. Taluce Le Clair, French, refuses to pitch in for the keg. Because of this, from this day on, the rest of the industrial world will not like French people.

1493 - Jermaine Huijuity becomes the first American colonist to play pinnochle.

1898 - Herman Flanders, of Houston, Texas, leaves the gate to his home open while he goes to the store.

1926 - Herman Flanders II, of Houston, Texas, leaves the toilet seat up. In the night, his mother would fall into the toilet, drowning to death.

1955 - Herman Flanders III, of Houston, Texas, leaves the toilet seat down. In the night, he urinates all over the seat. When his mother goes to use the toilet, she slips all over the seat, falling over, and cracks her head off of the bathroom floor. The only one who hears the commotion is the Flanders' dog, Pepe, who runs into the bathroom and promptly drinks from the toilet.

1990 - Lawson's doctors advise him to stop eating so much cheese as a health precaution. In spite, Lawson would start a cheese marathon, where Lawson would go forty days and forty nights of eating cheese. Lawson would consume 1454 pounds of cheese, an average of 36.35 pounds per day.
