Well I assume a lot of you have played the "Battle Arena Toshinden" video game.
This anime has all the same characters, Eiji, Ellis and the like.
Eiji hears that all the previous winners of the tournaments
held by "The Organization," are baing killed. So he starts to investigate that and he
also hopes to find his brother Sho. During this his friend Ellis gets kidnapped by
"The Organization," now he must go there to fight for his friend.
"Battle Arena Toshinden"has one of those generic meet, beat up and become friends and take out the end guy stories. Well "Battle Arena Toshinden" is not nearly as good as Fatal Fury, or any of the SF anime, but better than Samuari Showdown. Well whats that mean - well it's just reaching an avarage rating. Besides the Animation, music and the art work is ok. (I never really liked the look - its the same as the second game BTW) The story just doesn't get great because it is really generic.
It is a good, enjoyable ride while it lasts but nothing to get excited about.
