 In the Bubblegum Crisis takes place in the year 2032, where not too long ago a huge earthquake destoryed Tokyo. The city was rebuilt and renamed Mega-Tokyo mainly by an evil corporation called Genom. This conglomerate was responsible for much of the rebuilding, giving them great power. This company produces machines known as Boomers(A bio-mechanical creature), who are a blend of robotics, cybernetics and advanced artificial intelligence. The work that they do varies greatly from boomer to boomer, but they mainly stick to construction or dangerous work humans can not really do. Other areas of use for them are household work, entertainment purposes, prostitution and military usage(which seems to get into a lot of trouble). Occasionally boomers malfunction, and this is when the A.D. Police(The largest police force in the world) is called upon. Even the A.D. Police can not handle every case, and this is when the Knight Sabers(a female group of merc's)come on to the scene. They wear unique armored power-suits that allow them to contend with these massivally dangerous boomers who fight to stop Genom's evil ways. Detective Leon and his partner Daley of the A.D. Police do help out the Sabres form time to time. All make for likable
This series has a lot of character development, which does make it seem to start a little slow
in the beginning of the series but adds a lot to the characters and storyline.
Overall it is a good series, possessing good animation that gets better as the series progresses but
not as good as some other anime I have seen.
The music in this series is very good, it really adds to the overall feel.
I do recomend this to everyone because it is worth your time.
