The story of Guyver starts when high school student Sho Fukomashi and his best friend Tetsuro
happen to find a metal container. Little do they know that this container is about to
change their lives forever. Sho eventually decides to open this container and finds some
strange (alien) device. It suddenly jumps at him to merge with his body which turns him into
a Guyver unit. A Guyver unit an organic suit of armor that supercharges the user's body with
incredible destructive powers and superhuman abilities.
Unfortunally the unit causes Sho and friends to become targets of other bio-creatures known as Zoinoids. Zoinoids are bio-creatures genetically engineered by the evil corporation know only as Kronos. Now Sho must battle the Zoinoids with the help of his friends, Guyver III(The other functional unit), and a mysterious private investigator that has a large gun and a secret. Sho must do this and destroy Kronos to discover what he now is, the purpose of the Guyver Unit, and why they want the unit so badly.
The plot and the character development in this series have plenty of time to develop and it is
done very well. The fights are well done and are very bloody: limbs go flying, zoinoids loose
their heads in rivers of blood. I have seen worse but I do think you can handle it, because this
is a very good series and it is worth your time.
