(Side Note 1: During the summers that he has been working there he noticed that there was a small gate in the temple, this summer he found the key. He found there to be a cavern behind the temple that housed the remains of a demon that was trapped in there 700 years ago. He soon finds the bad information that he is a direct decsendant of the man who has disposed of it there. The alien turns out to be woman named Ryoko(who is not hard on the eyes), she will be nothing but trouble for poor Tenchi. Things now start to get even Worse,members of the royal family of planet Jurai set want Ryoko captured, who now came to Earth to capture her.)
(Side Note 2: So Tenchi found Ryoko in the first episode of the First series, but this is info I would have like to know before I saw the movie since I didn't see the series first)

.......due to problems at Galaxy Police HQ, Kain who was being held there has escaped from his Imprisionment in subspace. Soon after he escapes the whole Galaxy Police HQ sucked into subspace, and is totally destroyed. Now this all powerful being is heading straight towards earth!
......but what is his agenda!

Kain (hating Tenchi's faimly for drawing him into subspace) goes after Tenchi's mother in the past which causes Tenchi to start to fade out of existence because if she dies he is NEVER born. Now Tenchi along with everyone else must now go into the past in an attempt to protect Tenchi's mother from being killed by Kain.

I saw this before I saw the Tenchi series (as I mensioned above), but was not confused because the story was good and the characters were easy to "get along" with. This was ment to be see after the series though, but this does not hinder the movie other than not knowing the characters right away.
Everything about this movie is good! The story rocks, The animation is very well done and the final battle at the end is one that you need to see to believe. If you have seen any Tenchi before you will love it. If you are a fan and haven'r seen the movie (Whats wrong with you) go see it NOW!!
