5 eggs
2 cups grated Gouda or other cheese
2 6-ounce jars marinated artichoke
hearts, drained and finely chopped
1 6-ounce can crab meat, drained
and flaked
3 green onions (including green
tops), finely chopped
¼ cup Italian-seasoned dry
breadcrumbs
¼ teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Lightly butter a 7-by-11-inch baking dish. In a large bowl, beat the eggs until blended. Stir in the cheese, chopped artichoke hearts, crab meat, green onions, breadcrumbs and hot pepper sauce. Scrape the mixture into the prepared dish. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the center feels firm. Re-move the dish from the oven and let cool for about 15 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes about 60 appetizers.
