4 pork chops
1 white onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
8 ~10 mushrooms, sliced
1 cup flour
Lawry's Seasoning Salt
garlic salt
pepper
½ cup milk
1 egg
½ stick butter
1½ cup peanut oil
1½ cup cold water
Prep chops with whipped milk and eggs. Dip in batter. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper on chops. Mix flour and seasoning salt and place chops in mixture. Bag and shake well. Fry chops in peanut oil until golden brown. Sauté onion, bell pepper and mushrooms in butter with garlic salt. Using 4 tablespoons of the left over peanut oil, sprinkle in ½ cup of flour for gravy base. Stir into smooth brown paste and add 1½ - 2 cups cold water. Bring to boil stirring occasionally. Add sautéed vegetables and cook for 15 - 20 min. Add golden chops and simmer over low heat for 10 - 15 min.
