Heather's Day with Days

Here's another experience that one of my members got when they got a chance to
visit Days.

Ok, here's a lengthy description of my day with Days:
On a nice day in March, my aunt took me, my sister, and my cousin to NBC
Studios. We had lunch in the NBC Commissary. The food was ok; I could see a
reason why some of the cast doesn't like to eat the food there though. While
we were in the commissary, my sister recognized "Jack" and "Jennifer." Mark
Valley came to talk to us, take pictures, and sign autographs. Then he asked
us if we wanted to take a tour of the sets. Of course we said yes. He was
a very sweet guy (and as good-looking as he is on TV). Stephanie Cameron
ended up taking us around the sets though; which was fine. She was very
sweet and beautiful, and she did a good job as our tour guide. She even
liked my shirt. She pointed out things like "Austin's" Apartment and roof,
the park (which was indoors), and "Jennifer's" House. I was speechless for
some reason. I wanted to ask her questions, but my mind was blank. She told
us that if we think of any questions, to just ask her. We ended up taking a
picture with Stephanie in "Jennifer's" House. After that, we ran into Drake
Hogeston and James Reynolds. They were very polite (they shook our hands).
Later on, Mark Valley got us copies of a Days script, so we got that
autographed. We also met Marie-Alise Recasner (she plays Lynn). She showed
us pictures of her kids. She was very nice too. In addition, we met Peter
Reckell, Krista Allen-Morritt, Eileen Davidson, and Matt Battaglia. Peter
seemed like he was in a hurry, which could explain his unwillingness to be
social. Krista was very sweet (and quite pretty, I might add). I noticed
that she was pregnant, which was news to me at the time. She told us that
she was planning on naming her child Jacob Nolan. I don't know if that still
holds true or not though. I had a nice laugh with Krista too. I didn't get
to talk to Eileen. I met Matt a couple days before. He was cool and a very
nice person. I also said hi to Jamie Lyn Bauer, but I didn't get a chance to
ask for an autograph or a picture with her. All in all, I had a great time.
That was an experience that I will never forget. I want to add thanks to
all the people that helped make that day so memorable.
Heather
