SYNOPSIS

In this Fantasy/Drama, the focus was on a heterogeneous group of 40 young Americans stranded on a South Pacific island after their plane crashed when returning from a cultural exchange tour of Southeast Asia.

The island just happened to be an abandoned U.S. atomic test site, which meant that although it was safe, it came complete with food, buildings, provisions and all the other necessary apparatus of modern society - but no other people.

Inhabiting this eerie world, the young folks with their different ethnic and social backgrounds, set out to organize their own "new" society - without adults. And, somehow, a few guest stars managed to wander on and off of their "lost" island!
