SYNOPSIS

This series revolved around the journeys of a young correspondence-school law student who rode West in search of adventure.

Unfortunately, Tom Brewster was not very good at being a cowboy and he quickly earned the nickname "Sugarfoot" - one grade lower than a tenderfoot. That didn't stop him though and with a redeeming sense of humor, he set out to round up some outlaws - and a few pretty girls along the way.

Although it was a Western in the traditional sense, Sugarfoot always had a light side which set it apart from other like-minded shows. It ran on an alternate-week basis with Cheyenne from 1957-1959, with Bronco from 1959-1960 and then became one of three rotating shows of the Cheyenne anthology for its final season.
