If you see a girl walking down the street, what catches your eye?
The way she walks. I like a girl who walks with confidence and is obviously comfortable with herself. Apart from that it's her face and her smile - I love a big, warm smile.
Do you prefer blondes or brunettes?
I don't mind. I've been out with both and hair color is one of the last things I worry about.
Ever fancied an older woman?
There was this really cute teacher at my old school who was probably about 26 or so, and all the guys really fancied her. She'd come in wearing short skirts and little tops and we were all like (makes weird drooling type noise), and picking our tongues up off the floor - it wasn't fair on us poor guys! And she was really intelligent, too - she taught science.
Do you like quiet or loud girls?
Loud girls, definitely. It's much more fun going out with someone with a bit of life than some quiet little mouse who doesn't say anything. They've got to be able to hendle going out with me and all my mates, and they've got to be able to stand up for themselves.
Have you got a girlfriend at the moment, then?
No, and I'm not looking for one, to be honest. You know, sometimes I think they can be more trouble than they're worth! I might stick to my mates for a while.
Have you ever fancied a girl in the same class as you?
I should hope not - I go to an all boys school! I went to a mixed school until I was 14 and it's not so bad being without them. Actually, I think if there were girls around now I wouldn't concentrate nearly as much as I do - I'd be pretty hopeless!
Is it hard coping with being a pin-up?
It's not a pressure or anything, it's just something that has happened. I don't even think about it. I know I'm probably up on some girls' walls, but it doesn't bother me. My mates think it's pretty cool, though!
How do you ask a girl out?
I like to get to know them first and to be on friendly terms before we get into any of that stuff. Then if it's meant to be, things will just happen naturally.
Where do you take a girl on a first date?
I don't go on dates as such. If I'm going to take a girl out I'll make sure it's with a group of friends and we all go out somewhere fun in a big group.
You still live at home, so are you allowed to have girls in your room?
Yeah, my parents are cool about that sort of stuff. They're not allowed to stay overnight, but we can stay up there 'til pretty late and we don't have to leave the door open or anything!
Have you been in love yet?
No. I reckon I have plenty of time for all that later.
Would you date a fan?
Yeah, why not? If they were just a normal person who happened to like the show then it wouldn't be a problem. I must admit I prefer it when someone doesn't know who I am - it means you can start off on a level footing with no preconceptions.
Would you ask a girl in a disco for the last dance?
I wouldn't just leave it 'til the end and then wander over and ask for a dance - if I liked someone in a disco I'd go up and talk to them. It's the only way to get to know them, and then you can decide whether you want the last dance with her or not.
Have you ever been dumped?
No, not once. I always do the dumping, ha! If I ever think the relationship feels like it might be coming to an end, I make sure I get there first!
How can a girl win your heart?
The main thing is she's got to make me laugh - that'll win me over every time.
Would you own up to having a girlfriend?
Yeah, I'd tell everyone - I don't see why you should have to keep it a secret just because you're on TV. Because I was working so much last year I just haven't had time to have a girlfriend, but I'm not going to be quite as busy this year, so who knows?
What turns you off about a girl?
I don't like 'girly girls' - I find it a real turn-off if they're all giggly. I like my girlfriends quite tough, the sort who'll punch you back if you punch them. That's why Melissa and George were good casting in the show - they were both quite strong.
Who would be your ideal woman?
I'm not into having posters of people on my walls, but I like Victoria from Spice Girls - she's cute.
