"When I saw the show on TV for the first time I thought that's me. Those games are fun, I love competitiveness and I want to get some recognition for what I've done in the past. (GLACIER was three times world karate champion, heavyweight category)". GLACIER was caught many time by her parents when she was young, holding up a trophy in her bedroom pretending she was up on the winning podium! When she actually won the world championship for the first time she said to them, "See - I've done this before!".
GLACIER started competing as a Gladiator since April 1996, but before that she was known as Lourene, the second series champion for GLADIATORS. In fact, GLACIER is the first Gladiator to be on both sides of the competition.
When GLACIER is not busy as a Gladiator, she is a teacher. Imagine telling her you hadn't done your homework!
