"Israel's Golden Age"

Last week, Miss Israel celebrated its 50th anniversary with the crowning of Miss Israel 2000.

To mark this golden occasion, we present this photo from the 1999 Miss Israel Pageant. On the left is Rana Raslan, Miss Israel 1999 and the first Arab to hold the title. On the right is Linor Abargil, Miss Israel 1998. Linor went on to become Miss World 1998.
