PICTURE OF THE WEEK
The third annual Face of Africa was held on Saturday, April 15, in South Africa. The winner? South Africa's Nombulelo Mazibuko. Last year's winner was Benvinda Mundenge of Namibia
The first winner was Nigeria's Patricia Oluchi Onweagba, pictured here. She is now a top runway model and has appeared on the cover of Italian Vogue. Oluchi recently landed a contract with the Gap, too.
The Face of Africa contest is sponsored by M-NET, a South African television network, and the winner receives a three-year modelling contract from Elite Management, the world's biggest modelling agency.
And like Miss Universe, the Face of Africa winner gets to live in New York for a year!
