The Miss Teen USA Pageant celebrates its 17th birthday this Tuesday, August 24, 1999.
To mark the occasion, we present a picture of the winner of the 11th annual pageant, Miss Teen USA 1993, Vermont's Charlotte Lopez.
Charlotte can currently be seen in Ricky Martin's new video. Charlotte is also the co-author of the 1996 book Lost in the System, which tells Charlotte's inspiring story of growing up as a foster child.
Who will join Charlotte and become the 17th member of the Miss Teen USA sorority? We'll all know on Tuesday.
