In this photo, Hawaii's Macel Wilson, Miss USA 1962, has her hands raised to the heavens and seems to be asking the ancient gods of her paradise homeland, "Who will be the next Miss USA?"

We will all find out Friday, February 5, when the 1999 Miss USA Pageant airs on CBS live from Branson, Missouri.

This picture of Macel was taken by Chris Hansen, whose warm and witty photographs chronicled the golden Miami Beach years (1960-1971) of the Miss Universe and Miss USA Pageants.
