Outta This World

Here is Miss World 1998, Israel's Linor Abargil, on the cover of an Israeli teen magazine.

The countdown to the Miss World Golden Jubilee is on. In November, Miss World will celebrate its 50th anniversary in London, at the Millennium Dome.

As part of the countdown, the Global Beauties web site is presenting an "outta this world" feature.

In the "Most Beautiful Miss World Ever" contest, Global Beauties is picking the most beautiful among all 49 Miss World winners.

Ten judges from ten different countries are scoring all of winners from 0.00 to 10.00. Each of these judges brings outstanding credentials in Miss World history and knowledge. In the judging, the highest and lowest scores are eliminated, and the remaining scores are averaged to determine the final ranking of each Miss World winner.

From now until November, the rankings will be revealed until we find out who has bagged the title of the "Most Beautiful Miss World Ever." Check it all out at
