In honor of the 40th anniversary of the Miss International Pageant, as well as Hispanic Heritage Month here in the USA, we present Colombia's Stella Marquez, Miss International 1960.
Will Latin America win the crown a fourth year in a row? The suspense and intrigue will end this week in Japan with the crowning of the new Miss International 2000.

With Colombia's win in 1960, Latin America captured the first Miss International crown. And for the past three years, Latin America has emerged victorious at the pageant.
