"A Royal Welcome"

Brook Lee, Miss Universe 1997, recently visited Provincetown, Massachusetts, the unofficial capitol of Cape Cod. She was in town to film a documentary on the best beaches in the USA, which is slated to be shown in March on the Travel Channel.

For those not familiar with Provincetown (P'town for short), suffice it to say it has a most unusual flair for the outrageous. This was evident when Brooke arrived in P'town and was greeted by some of P'town's own royalty - drag queens Pearlene, Ginger Vitus and Honey West.

Brooke gave the group the royal treatment by pecking and hugging each of them. She exclaimed, "Fellows, fellows. Oh my goodness, compared to you I'm so underdressed. I'm not even wearing heels."
