Prince Endymion of the Earth Terran Kingdom
Prince Endymion lived 1000 years ago in a time period known as The Silver Millinium. Endymion was the crown prince of the Terran Kingdom on Earth. He lived on the Earth, with his Family, and his guards, General Kunzite, General Nephlyte, General Jedite, and General Zoicite.
During the Silver Millinium, Endymion met, and fell in love with Princess Serenity from the Moon, crown Princess of the Silver Millinium. It was forbidden for Earthlings, to meet with, or marry any Lunarians (moon people), but Serenity would teleport to Earth to meet with Endymion reguardless of the Earth rules. Endymion and Serenity being soul mates and all. When the other kingdoms of Earth discovered that Endymion was engaged with the Princess of the Moon, they were outraged by this news, and evil Queen Beryl led an army of minions from the Negaverse to take out the Earth, and the Moon Kingdom.
Unfortunatly, Queen Beryl was successful in her attack at desroying the Earth, as well as the Moon Kingdom. During this war, she killed Endymion's Family, and took his Generals, brainwashed them, and they became Generals of her army. When Beryl arrived on the Moon, she offered Endymion a place by her side as King of the Negaverse, but Endymion refused her and fought against her for Serenity. Queen Beryl killed Endymion in that battle, and Serenity commited suicide to be with Endymion. Queen Serenity, with what little energy she had left, used her Silver Imperium Crystal to seal away Beryl and her minions, and to send Prince Endymion, along with Serenity to a new future on Earth.
Darien
Darien is the present day Prince Endymion. He was reincarnated in 20th Century Tokyo, Japan. In the Japanese original version, his name is Chiba Mamoru, or as Bunny likes to call him Mamo-chan. Darien is one serious dude. It's hard to believe that him and Bunny get along as well as they do, but instead of annoying Darien with her energetic ways, Darien loves her for them. Darien is also VERY smart. He studies computer programming and medicine at college. He's much older than the scouts and Bunny; in the original season Darien is 19. Darien's best friend is Andrew, the worker at Crown Arcade, where he goes to see Bunny when she gets out of school. Darien also grew up as an orphan, his parents died in a horrible car crash when he was very young, which makes Bunny and her friends, all the more important to him.
Tuxedo Mask
Tuxedo Mask, or Tuxedo Kamen (jap) is a very mysterious character at first. He appears out of nowhere to help out especially Sailor Moon, but the other scouts too, when things are going bad during battle. He uses knife sharp roses to throw at enemies, yet he possesses much more power than he lets on. He possesses within him the power of the planet Earth, which just so happens to be where Sailor Moon and the rest of the scouts live. Tuxie also has an obsession with the Rainbow Crystals, which worries the scouts, althogh Sailor Moon trusts him completely. If you haven't figured it out yet, Tuxedo Mask is Darien's alter ego, or super hero form. After Sailor Moon discovers who he really is, they fight along side one another to save Earth many times.
Moonlight Knight
The Moonlight Knight is a very special character in the Sailor Moon Series. Can you believe that he's MORE mysterious than Tuxedo Kamen? The Moonlight Knight is only in the beginning of the Sailor Moon R series, the episodes with Allan and Anne. He, much like Tuxedo Mask appears when Sailor Moon, or the scouts are in trouble during battle. Sailor Moon believes in her heart that the Moonlight Knight is Darien, since Darien can not remember being Tuxedo Mask, but is very disappionted when both the Moonlight Kinght, and Darien are together at the same time. It is later explained by the Moonlight Knight, that he is actually the part of Darien that is Tuxedo Mask. Although Darien could not remember that he is Prince Endymion, and Tuxedo Mask, he knew somewhere in his soul that he needed to protect Serenity, thus the Moonlight Knight was created, until Darien got his memory back, and became Tuxedo Mask again.
Neo-King Endymion of Earth and the Crystal Millinium
Neo-King Endymion is the crown ruler of the Earth, and the time period known as the Crystal Millinium. He rules along side Neo-Queen Serenity, who also rules over the Moon. The Crystal Millinium is the 30th Century, and Darien's future. The King and the Queen, have a daughter, Small Lady, who also lives with them in Crystal Tokyo. We don't see too much of the King, although he is around more than his wife. However, he does play an important role in the Sailor Moon R season. He sends his past self, Darien dreams that Serena will die if he's around her, to test their love. He breaks the news that Rini is Darien and Serena's daughter to Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, and he assists the scouts in the battle against the Dark Moon.
