Quinn, Maggie, and Rembrandt slide into the middle of a firing range on Earth 147. Maggie rescues a injured soldier that turns out to be a Kromagg names Kromanus. The Slideres were then captured and tortured br second-in-command Krolack. Kromanus turns out to be the commmander, and comes to their defense, reducing their status to house arrest, which gave them the full run of the complex. The 3 sliders soon become involved in a power struggle between an ambitious Kromagg and his superior.Rembrandt discovers tests being performed on humans that could mean the end of all human life.
