SOUTH BAY GENERAL: The doctor informed Caitlin that the only thing that could save Trey was blood from his biological mother. Caitlin fretted when the doctor explained that blood from anyone else would kill Trey. Annie told Caitlin that Olivia claimed that she was Trey's mother because his mother needed to sign consent forms. Olivia took a moment to thank Gregory for rescuing Caitlin and Sean.

FALLING APART: Annie came up with a plan. First, she told Caitlin that Trey's biological mother would be willing to give blood for Trey's sake. Then she told Olivia that if she donates the blood anonymously, everyone wins -- Gregory will never find out that Trey could be Cole's son, Caitlin will never find out that Trey's really her brother, and Cole will never find out that Trey isn't Caitlin's biological son. That way, no one but the two of them will know that Annie kidnapped Trey and gave him to Caitlin. Olivia refused to go along with this plan. When she realized that everything was about to unravel, Annie decided to leave town. AJ walked up behind Annie while she was talking to her travel agent.

TRUTH SESSION: Resolved to tell Caitlin the truth, Olivia overheard Caitlin telling Trey that she blames herself for his injuries. Caitlin confessed to Olivia that Trey isn't her biological son, then broke down into tears.

MORE BAD NEWS FOR THE CUMMINGS FAMILY: Gabi told Meg about Sara's disappearance. Ben tried to comfort Meg by telling her that there were islands near where the ship went down and they were searching each of the islands for survivors. Meg felt terrible because the last time she saw Sara they had a fight. Ben had a flashback of trying to save Maria from drowning.

Meg told Joan about Sara's disappearance, and they decided not to tell Hank about it until he was stronger. When Hank asked for Sara, Meg relied that she hasn't come home from the cruise yet. Joan came in. Thinking he was asleep, Meg and Joan discussed Sara. Later, Meg told Ben that he didn't know the anger and helplessness she feels, then she realized that he went through the same thing with Maria.

PAST MEETS PRESENT: Francesca told Ricardo her injury was the result of an accident, and Antonio backed up her lie. In an attempt to convince him that she has changed, Francesca told Antonio that she intends to move on, to keep from complicating Cole's life.

Cole was having a hard time adjusting to the idea that AJ saved his life. Meanwhile, Leo told AJ that he couldn't wait to meet this son whose life was worth risking his own for. When AJ seemed reluctant to introduce them, Leo suggested that AJ didn't want him to meet Cole.

Cole went down to the emergency room to have his burned hand treated. When the doctor called for him, she brought him into the same examining room as Francesca. Cole thanked Francesca for saving his life. She informed him that she told Ricardo that the shooting was an accident. Francesca told Cole that Phillip was always envious of Cole, she just didn't know how much until recently. They decided to go their separate ways.

PLEASED TO MEET YA: Gregory overheard Francesca telling Cole that she hopes that he remembers the good times and not just the cruise. Cole told her that whatever they had was over. Cole headed back for the pediatrics department. Gregory told Leo where to find Cole. After Leo went off in search of Cole, Gregory introduced himself to Francesca. Down the hall, Leo confronted Cole, calling him "big brother."

CEDAR OAKS: Dana continued having nightmares of drowning. Tim woke her up, assuring her that she was just having a bad dream, and asking her to tell him what it was about. She told him that she never remembered her dreams. She just knew that they were connected to her past and they scared her. When Tim informed Dana that they think that Sara and Casey drowned, she panicked.
