SS NEPTUNE II

UP THE LADDER: Ricardo finally managed to shut off the steam valves. He explained to the others what choices they were faced with -- take the chance of being killed by an exploding steam pipe or drown when the ship goes under. Sean volunteered to help the others up the ladder. Emily fretted about him, but Bette reassured her that Sean would be fine. Sean climbed up the ladder, and Gabi started directing the others up to him, beginning with Emily. At first, Emily nearly fell, but Sean coaxed her to safety.

Amy told Gabi that she suspected that Antonio was dead, and Ricardo and Gabi were hiding the truth from them. Ricardo tried to convince the others that they have to go -- now, but Gabi reminded him that each of them has to decide for themselves whether to go or stay.

BRUCE'S DEMISE: Melinda told Bruce, the photographer, that she wanted the pictures of Sara and Casey, because she intended to make sure that Sara is remembered as a whore. He gave the pictures to her. Then Bruce fell from the ladder and drowned. Melinda ran away screaming.

The others went up the ladder, leaving Gabi to hold down the fort waiting for Antonio. Sean's hope that Caitlin would survive was fading, but Bette reassured him if anyone can keep her safe, it was Cole. Ricardo went after Antonio and sent Gabi up the ladder.

DIARY OF A MADMAN: While Cole tried to radio for help, Phillip came into the room and shot the radio. Cole tried to bargain with Phillip for Caitlin's freedom, but Phillip refused. Phillip demanded to be taken to Francesca, and Cole claimed that he didn't know where she was. Phillip called his bluff.

CONFESSION TIME: Antonio told Francesca that there'd be plenty of time to hear her confession when they get to land, but Francesca insisted that she didn't want to risk dying without getting something off of her chest. She couldn't believe that God would forgive her, because she has no honor. She confessed that she sold herself to the highest bidder -- Phillip. Phillip gave her everything that she thought she wanted, but she was still unhappy. Antonio encouraged her that she just has to have faith to be forgiven.

THE MADMAN COMETH: Francesca tried to act like she loved Phillip, but he knew that she'd always love Cole. She feared that the person who would suffer the most would be Cole's son. She said she wished her prayers could save Cole. Phillip overheard and declared that her prayers won't save anyone! Phillip told Antonio that he's going to kill Cole, Caitlin and Francesca. He just needed to decide who to kill first. Francesca tried to convince Phillip that they can try again, but he didn't buy it. Phillip shot at Cole.

THIRD WHEEL: Casey found one set of scuba gear to share with Sara when they swim away from the sinking ship. When Melinda spotted them and tried to horn in on their escape, Sara and Casey agreed -- reluctantly -- to help Melinda.

SOUTH BAY GENERAL: Olivia blamed Annie for everything that has happened to Trey. When Gregory broke up their argument, Annie admitted that everything was her fault, because she picked a fight with Olivia. She made it sound like Olivia was unstable.

Annie told AJ that at least he has Leo, a son who cares about him, because Cole wouldn't be any comfort to him in this crisis. AJ told Leo about his relationship with Cole.

Annie interrupted Gregory comforting Olivia to tell him the name of the ship that Cole and Caitlin were on. Gregory, Olivia, Annie, AJ and Leo were shocked when they saw a news bulletin about the tidal wave!
