THE GYM: Antonio hurt his shoulder while working out because he was thinking about his feelings for Gabi. The trainer advised him to soak the shoulder in the hot tub.
RICHARDS HOUSE: Gregory tried, once again, to convince Caitlin that Cole is no good for her. As always, he was unsuccessful. When Caitlin left to see Cole, Annie told Gregory that the best way to break up Caitlin and Cole was to let her go, because she would see the kind of person Cole is sooner or later. Caitlin returned to tell Gregory that Cole had been released. While she was there, Caitlin got a mysterious phone call, in which someone said, "I know your secret."
SUNSET BEACH POLICE DEPARTMENT: AJ tried to get Ricardo to drop the charges, to no avail. When she overheard Ricardo telling AJ that there was plenty of evidence linking Cole to Hillary's disappearance, Gabi asked him about it, but he refused to tell her. Olivia told Cole that she thought that Hillary was dead long before last night. She wasn't going to turn him in, because she'd only hurt Caitlin by doing so. She wouldn't turn him in to Ricardo or to try to turn Caitlin against him if he promised not to take Caitlin away with him. He agreed. Ricardo brought in the evidence that they found. He confirmed that the blood on the clothes was Hillary's. When Caitlin came to get Cole out, they released him, but Ricardo warned him not to go too far.
SHOCK WAVE: While spying on Sean and Emily, Amy admired the emerald she found on the beach, which she had made into a necklace. When Emily left, Amy moved in. She told Sean that she felt lonely, and got Sean to invite her along with them to the beach. Knowing that the curse will strike anyone who owns one of the jewels, Amy gave Emily the emerald.
SURF CENTRAL: Antonio climbed into the hot tub to help his shoulder. Gabi joined him. When Antonio tried to leave, her hurt his shoulder again. Gabi noticed, so he told Gabi about injuring it. She massaged it. While she was massaging his shoulder, he fantasized about kissing her. Suddenly he declared that he couldn't lie to her anymore.
INN AT SUNSET BEACH: While AJ was reading the report about the mummy out loud, Leo heard him. Thinking he's talking about the mummy at Bernie's house, Leo told him all about their Halloween night experience. After Leo finished telling the story, AJ realized that the jewels really are cursed. AJ told Leo that he didn't want him spending any time with Amy.
