CEDAR OAKS: Carmen came to see Maria, who asked her to leave. However, when Carmen insisted that she could help her regain her memories with her psychic gifts, Maria allowed her to stay. Carmen handed her a necklace that she gave to her daughter on her wedding day, but it didn't trigger any memories.
POWER PLANT: Olivia and Annie saw a rat and decided that that's what made the sound they heard . but we later saw the man's shoes. Olivia explained that Annie says that she is going to donate the necklace to the museum, Cole will think that the Halloween party will be his last chance to steal the necklace. Once he's stolen the necklace, Caitlin will have to watch her husband being led away in handcuffs. Olivia tried to convince Annie -- and herself -- that everything she's doing is for the good of her children.
SHOCK WAVE: Bernie appeared looking very creepy and ragged before Amy's eyes. He asked to speak to Amy privately, and told her that he may need her help later, so that she must come home within the hour. She asked him if this has anything to do with the chanting, but he refused to answer. Bette sensed that there was a big story afoot, so she followed Bernie. Later, she returned and said that she lost Bernie in the fog. Brad tried to convince the others that Amy was pretending when she screamed, but Sean realized that the scream was genuine.
After everyone left, Sean and Emily danced together in the otherwise deserted restaurant. Amy watched them. Brad told Amy that her scream didn't convince Sean and Emily. She confessed that she was too scared to go home.
INN AT SUNSET BEACH: Cole got the guard dogs to settle down, but the security guard had heard them barking, and came to investigate. When the security guard left for a moment, Cole and Francesca sneaked out.
Cole returned to the room, and found Caitlin packing. He asked her if she was leaving, and she wondered if she has a reason to. She finally told him that they had gotten approval to move back into Gregory's house. Cole realized that this might be the chance he needed to steal the necklace. When Caitlin asked him if he would rather move into their own place, he said that Gregory's house would be fine with him. Caitlin revealed she is aware that he's keeping something from her. Cole admitted that something dangerous has been going on and that he'll tell her everything once the danger's over.
BEN'S HOUSE: Ben objected to Dr. Estrada's plan to have Maria move in with them. Dr. Estrada said that if Maria doesn't remember soon, she might suffer from a breakdown that she'd never recover from.
Meg thought that Ben was afraid that he might still be attracted to Maria, and that that attraction may be too much to resist if she lives with them. Meg asked Ben what they would do if Maria doesn't want to give him a divorce. Ben reassured Meg that whatever Maria feels when she regains her memories, he loves Meg and always will. Ben and Meg made love. Afterward, Meg had a dream about Maria remembering.
GRENADINE'S: Gregory ran into Francesca at the bar. He told her that since she wants Cole and he wants Caitlin to be happy, there might be something they can do about to both get what they want. Francesca responded that nothing anyone can do will break up Caitlin and Cole.
When Annie arrived, she saw the two talking and was very demonstrative toward her husband. Annie did the most difficult thing she's ever done -- told Gregory and Francesca that she's going to donate the necklace to the museum. Gregory tried to talk Annie out of donating the necklace to the museum, but she replied that his love for her has inspired her to be generous. Francesca realized that the Halloween party will be their last chance to get the necklace.
OLIVIA'S HOUSE: Bernie approached Olivia as she opened the door, telling her that she has to get the jewels back before it's too late.
