Sydney was the Centre psychologist in charge of Jarod. He became the closest thing Jarod has to a father. Despite the Centre's nagging him to convince Jarod to return, Sydney has helped Jarod remain free and saved his life. Sydney has also known Miss Parker since she was a child. He was the only one to comfort her at her mother's funeral. Now he works with her to catch Jarod, even if he doesn't really want Jarod caught. Sydney's parents were killed by Nazi's in WWII, while Sydney and his twin brother Jacob were captured for experimentation. Sydney had the number 54679 tattooed on his arm while imprisoned. Jacob also worked at the Centre until he fell into a coma from a car crash Sydney caused. He later died. Sydney had a son, Nicholas by Michelle Luca, which he only met recently. Nicholas is now a teacher.
