A group trained from childhood in kung fu, the 13 cold blooded eagles, are sent by their leader, the Foster Father Yu Shi Hung (Yan Siu Kwan), to get the star bleeding skills book (an instruction book on the Star Bleeding Skill, which allows your body to be penetrated by swords and daggers without injury) and destroy whoever possesses it. But is the respected Foster Father really as good hearted as everyone thinks?

 

Crazy and entertaining fantasy new wave.

The choreography is fast but some fights are speeded up and the use of wires is to abundant, there's also a lot of flying and stuff like that.

The end, when Cynthia’s eyes turn red, is a little ridiculous but this movie still has its qualities.

It contains more kung fu than I thought and it isn’t bad at all. Unfortunately the subs are a bit hard to read and the guy who wrote them didn’t seem to know a lot of english meaning he writes wrong about every ten words.

 

The characters are strange and there are lots of them. Like the Shin Shu monster (an almost invincible man who doesn't look at all like a monster and knows the star bleeding skill, played by Chung Fa) and a man who’s been living in a cave for 20 years. The guy has such luck that of all people living in China, the one who falls into the cave where he lives is his son. He saves his son by giving him all the povers he possesses (don't asc me why the old man didn't jump out of the cave himself when he was twenty years younger).

Cynthia plays Saint Quihua, the daughter of a man who trains the star bleeding skill.

This is not the best movie you'll find out there but it's certanly worth a look, especially for the ones who like crazy stuff with quicksand and people who fly like eagles.
