Hwang Jang Lee

This guy is known as the king of all kickers. As most of the other movie kickers he's also of Korean origin but was born in Japan. Without his parents permission this mean looking star started training the high kicking Taekwondo style at the age of 14. He became a martial arts instructor to Korean troops in Taiwan, and was once challenged by a knife fighting expert. The fight lasted 30 seconds as he executed a round kick to the challengers head leading to his immediate death.
Hwang's stardom came when he was approached by producer Ng See Yuen to play "Silver Fox" in the classic "Secret Rivals". Since then he has played in countless kung fu movies. His first directing effort came with the excellent "Hitman in the Hand of Buddha" were he also played the hero to great effect.
Now retired from filmmaking he runs a hotel and golf tee manufacturing firm.
