Sarah Michelle Gellar

Born: April 14 1977 NYC

At the age of four, Sarah Michelle had already begun working. She was discovered by an agent sitting in a restaurant. She did a commercial for Burger King, for which she, as well as Burger King, was sued by McDonalds for mentioning their name in the commercial. She could also not enter a McDonalds' restaurant without a disguise due to truth in advertising (she said in the commercial she only eats at Burger King).

Ms. Gellar is no stranger to sports, she has earned a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do, been a competetive figure skater, occasionally goes cliff diving, is taking kick-boxing, boxing, street fighting and gymnastics.

Initially auditioned for the role of Cordelia in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but the producers were convinced she was their Buffy and put her in the leading role.

Besides being the star in the WB's hit show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", Sarah Michelle has also been in several movies, such as:    I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2, Cruel Intentions, Simply Irresistible. She has also played in various "soaps", such as Swans Crossing (1992), All My Children.

Besides from starring in several blockbuster movies, Sarah Michelle has also done a multitude of televsion appearances - and television movies. For example:

Guiding Light, An Invasion of Privacy, Spencer: For Hire, Girl Talk, A Woman Named Jackie, Beverly Hills Family Robinson, Love,Sidney, The David Letterman Show, The Regis Philbin Show, Crossbow.

Though a Manhattan native, Ms. Gellar currently resides in Los Angeles, in the Hollywood Hills section.
