Downloading & installing

• Right-click on the zip file you wish to download and save it to your hard drive.
• Then, using a compression or zip program (such as WINZIP or ZIP-It) and decompress or unzip the file into the skins folder inside the Messenger program folder. This should deposit a folder containing the needed files at this location. (Note: You must put it inside the skins folder in order to access the skin)

Applying the skin

• Open Yahoo! Messenger. (If you don't have it, or are using Yahoo! Pager or an older version of Yahoo! Messenger, download the latest now.)
• Click Edit and select Preferences on the pull down menu
• Click on the Appearance tab In the window that opens.
• Click on the pull-down box under the words Current Theme: and select the theme you downloaded from the choices. (If you do not see it listed there, check and make sure it is in the skins folder, which is inside the Messenger folder.)
• After that, click the Apply button near the bottom then OK button. Your new skin should now be on your Yahoo! Messenger.
