Fed Review
Originality
The Gladiator Wrestling Association is one of the most original e-wrestling organizations you will find on the internet today. Don't think for a second this is a promotion simply based off of the hit movie Gladiator. What really stands out about their originality are two things: 1) The titles they recognize and 2) A strong women's division. A 1 point deduction only comes from their use of WWF, WCW, ECW copyrighted pictures. Overall in the originality category if you want to follow an innovative e-wrestling federation this is the promotion to check out.
Score: 9

Organization
The GWA web site is broken down into a very basic three department set. It's left column includes: Behind the Scenes, Wrestler Area, and Upcoming Events. There is also a Quote of the Week. Their staff is listed on the main page, then their logo, below the logo is GWA Live Wire, followed below by a Current List of Champions. Their rules and regulations are clearly defined. Overall a very well done job in the organization category. Flawless from an organization stand point.
Score: 10

Site Design
The main site design logo isn't flashy but it coincides with the concept of the GWA. The smaller logo to the upper left corner of the site is much more impressive and should have been considered to be made bigger rather than the other larger GWA logo. GWA should do the look of the site more justice by finding a graphic or texture background rather than plain black. The border for the left hand column is spectacular and sets the tone for the main page well. Throughout the site you will see various colored backgrounds used. The different backgrounds breaks the monontany but does nothing for conformity. Adding another, stronger color to the sites color scheme might be a good idea. A stand out color such as red throughout the site would make GWA look that much more INTENSE! Nonetheless, it is obvious some great design tools were used making the GWA site look professional. Overall in the site design category more red, less black, and more graphics in the background. A few cgi scripts to make the site look alive wouldn't hurt either.
Score: 8

Interaction
The GWA has a Roleplay Board, Back up Board, and Out of Character Board. The staff's contact information is easy to find, in fact it is the first listed link. Newcomers to the GWA web site can send an e mail message to the GWA's staff basically in one click. You can also automatically add the GWA web site to your book marks. Last but not least there is a chat room anyone can type in their name and go to chat away (If anyone else happens to be there). What does the GWA lack in interaction? The GWA should try to add something creative such as a Money System, Point System, Contests between members, Live Chat Interview forum, or Video/Audio Chat. Overall in the interaction category GWA has the basics down but need to take some extra time to bring in more interactive departments and features.
Score: 8

Show Results
The results for all of GWA's shows are very well written. In this reviewer's opinion Play by Play beats out Description, or Summary Format results any day. The GWA is setting a very high standard online in how to write a complete, professional, and entertaining show week after week. Overall in the Show Results category little to no improvement is needed. It must be a plus for roleplayers to know their hard work roleplaying for a match will pay off by being able to read an excellently scripted broadcast involving their created character.
Score: 10

Talent Roster
The GWA's Talent Roster upon first examination looks VERY deep. After a little research however, this may only be because individual members have no set limit on how many characters they can handle at one time. Regardless, the Roleplaying Board is always active on a daily basis. The competition between members looks fierce. Yet, you do not see alot of out of character bitching which plagues so many other e-wrestling federations out there today. There is an even number of experienced players and improving players. The tag team division could use more teams. A lack of tag teams seems to be a problem for e-wrestling promotions universally. Overall in the Talent Roster category the GWA could certainly size up champion vs champion, no.1 contender vs no.1 contender against ANY other e-wrestling federation in a Top 10 Face Off!
Score: 9

Public Relations
The GWA doesn't make an outlandish boast to claim they are the best. The GWA doesn't pick fights with other feds to prove their vast superiority. You also don't see a fictious waiting list warding off potential new members. Unfortunately, from a fan's prospective there isn't a Fan Board to ask questions about upcoming events, talk to the wrestlers, or make suggestions to the staff. Also a  weekly or even bi-weekly GWA Newsletter wouldn't be a bad idea to get more "outsiders" involved in the latest happenings of the GWA. Overall however, GWA's standing in the e-wrestling community is VERY good and well respected.
Score: 9

Storylines/Angles
Without getting into any specific angles (They would be outdated in a few weeks if I did so) the GWA obviously prides itself on fresh, original, and interesting storylines and angles. The creative team obviously works well together and are on the same page. Their creativity truly shows in their pay per views, weekly shows, and newsboard posts. Great job all around from CEO to jobber in the Storylines/Angles category for the GWA. What will they think of next?
Score: 10

Extras
The GWA has all the fundamentals of a great e-wrestling promotion. The problem is the GWA needs to think about adding Poser, Shockwave, a Real Audio show, and maybe even a webcast to keep up with the Jones'.
Score: 7

Reliability
The Gladiator Wrestling Association has been open since May 2000. All of their shows are accurate and archived. Updates on the web site take place almost on a daily basis. Their large staff works well as a team. GWA is a strong federation and should be around for a long time to come.
Score: 10

Overall Review
The GWA scored the highest in Organization, Show Results, Storylines/Angles, and Reliability with perfect scores. Their next strongest points were Originality, Talent Roster, and Public Relations. They scored fairly high in Site Design, and Interaction. Their lowest score came in the Extras department with a fairly respectable score of 7. Overall this was a very high review considering all the detailed criteria involved. Hopefully this review will help the GWA improve in the areas needed. Bottom line, the Gladitor Wrestling Association IS one of the best e-wrestling federations on the net. Not all e-wrestling federations can get an A. The GWA came impressively close.
