Chapter 16
		Two weeks later most of Port Charles was rebuilt. GH had been restored as was the PC Hotel, the Outback, Kelly's, Luke's, and other areas. Lucky and Elizabeth decided to run Kelly's with the help of Emily and Nikolas. Jason and Sonny took over Luke's. The Q mansion had been rebuilt, but made bigger along with a bigger gatehouse. Ned and Alexis had found the perfect house out in the woods in a different area far from where Brenda's cottage was. This was a very secluded area. The first floor had a huge living room and the kitchen had a swinging door to enter it. Down the hall to your left was a swimming pool and to the right was the guest rooms. When you opened a door there was a flight of stairs leading to the second floor. It had a basketball court to the left and a tennis court to the right. It also had vending machines and a steam room. On the third floor it was more like the first floor. It had a mini kitchen, a den, some bedrooms, and the master bedroom with a jacuzzi. In the master bedroom was a door leading out to the balcony which overlooked the garden. The fourth floor was an attic to store stuff. They had moved in and already bought some furniture. Valentine's Day had arrived as Alexis waited for Ned. He put his hands over her eyes. "Guess who?" asked Ned smiling. "Harrison Ford?" asked Alexis smiling. "Guess again." he said smiling. "Brad Pitt?" she asked smiling. "Last chance." he said smiling. "Eddie Maine?" she asked grinning. "Close enough." he said grinning. She turned around and kissed him. "You're late." she said. "V was keeping me." he said. "That's right, you're performing." she said grinning. "I'd like to see you perform." he said suggestively showing his dimples. "Maybe some other time, but right now I'd like to get a look at our baby." she said. He smiled as they went to see Dr. Newman. At the Spencers's house which is now Lucky and Nikolas's house, the two brothers were watching Lulu with the help of Emily and Elizabeth. "So do you two want to go to the Valentine's Ball?" asked Lucky. "I wouldn't miss it." said Emily. "Are you gonna perform?" asked Nikolas. "Nah." said Lucky. "Hey, do you two wanna come back over our house after the ball and watch some movies?" asked Nikolas. "Maybe you guys could spend the night because we've got Lulu all day." said Lucky. "I'll ask Grams, but I'm sure she'll allow it." said Elizabeth. "I don't think my mother would mind." said Emily. "We better go get ready." said Elizabeth. "We'll take Lulu to get ready." said Emily. "Yeah, because I have no idea what a little girl should wear." said Lucky. "Figures." said Elizabeth smiling. "Come on, Lulu, let's go." said Emily. Lulu got up and took her hand. The three girls left as the boys smiled. V was rushing around the house getting things ready. "V, will you just relax." said Jax. "I can't because everything has to be perfect." said V. "Everything will be fine. Now go upstairs and take a nice hot bath to calm your nerves. It will help take the edge off." he said. "Maybe you're right." she said. "I'm always right." he said smiling. She went upstairs and started the water. Carly was giving Michael a bath when Jason walked in. "Are you sure you want to go tonight?" asked Jason. "Yeah, I do. Latecia will take good care of him while we're gone." said Carly. Michael started to splash and got Carly wet. She laughed and she tickled him. "Did you get mommy wet? You're a silly little boy." she said smiling as she tickled him. Jason laughed at the scene. "At least he's not throwing food at you." he said smiling. "I'll leave that job to you." she said smiling. He knelt down next to her as they finished bathing Michael. Mac and Felicia were getting everything set at the Outback. "This place looks better than before." said Mac. "That's a good thing." said Felicia. "Is Betty getting the girls ready?" he asked. "Yeah, and they should be here any minute." she said. Just then two girls ran through the door. "Well, speak of the devils." he said smiling. "You guys are early." said Felicia. "We wanted to help." said Maxie. "I want to help, mommy." said Georgie. "Okay. These are very important jobs." said Felicia. She told them their jobs. Jerry was helping Lucas with his bowtie. "Now remember our plan." said Jerry. "I got it." said Lucas. "What plan?" asked Bobbie entering the room. "You'll see, but you better get ready." said Jerry smiling. "You two are plotting against me, aren't you?" she asked smiling. "We wouldn't do that." said Lucas smiling. She smiled and went upstairs. Jerry gave Lucas a high five. At the Quartermaine mansion things were a little chaotic as they got ready for the night's festivities. "Alan, have you seen my pearl necklace?" asked Monica. "It should be in your jewelry box, dear." said Alan. She looked through her jewelry box and found it. "Thank you, dear." she said. "You're welcome." he said. AJ was downstairs and looked around the room. It looked like the old mansion, but it just didn't have the old feeling of it. He looked at the pictures on the mantle and sighed. He wanted to drink himself into oblivion, but what was the point of that. In a private room Ned and Alexis were getting their first glimpse of their baby. Ned held her hand as they both grinned at the monitor. "Would you like to know the sex of your baby?" asked Dr. Newman. "Yes." said Ned. "No." said Alexis simantaneously with Ned. "No." said Ned. "Yes." said Alexis simantaneously with Ned. "Which is it?" asked Dr. Newman. They both looked at each other and smiled. "Yes." they said. "From what I can tell...." said Dr. Newman trailing off. "What is it?" asked Alexis worried. "I can't believe it." said Dr. Newman in disbelief. "What's wrong?" asked Ned. "You're going to have twins." said Dr. Newman. "WHAT?" they said in disbelief. She showed them the picture of the other baby. "It's so tiny." said Alexis. "I'm sure it will get bigger." said Ned. "I'm sure SHE will." said Dr. Newman. "She?" asked Alexis. Dr. Newman nodded her head. "You're also going to have a son." said Dr. Newman. "Alright!" said Ned happily. "Did you want a boy that badly so you could pass on your leather pants to him?" asked Alexis smiling. Dr. Newman looked at him oddly and he blushed. "Would you like a picture of your babies?" asked Dr. Newman. They nodded their heads and after that was done they made an appointment to see Dr. Newman again for a checkup. "This was the best Valentine's gift I ever received." said Ned. "You're the best gift I ever got. I don't know what I did to deserve you." said Alexis. "You loved me with all your heart." said Ned. She smiled and he kissed her.
