Soon, Giles had called security and had had Angel removed.
Angel went to Willow's house and told her what he was planning. She gathered Oz, Cordy, and Xander and they were soon on their way to Angel's apartment to set up. Angel headed to the hospital to get Buffy.
He snuck into her window, which was on the first floor. He walked to the door and looked out. Giles was nowhere to be seen. He closed the door and locked it. After taking out her IV, he kissed her forhead and carried her to his place.
Giles sipped his coffee and headed towards Buffy's room to check on her. He turned the knob on the door. Locked. Frantically, he looked through the window. He was shocked to see an empty bed. The window was open.
"Security!" he yelled. A uniformed man ran up to him.
"What is it, sir?"
"The young lady that was in here, she was kidnapped!" the guard took out his 2-way radio and spoke into it. Giles leaned against the wall, weakly.
Angel lay Buffy down on his bed. She was getting worse every second. Her stomach was the size of someone 9 months pregnant, and she was burning up.
"We have to hurry, are you sure this won't hurt the twins?" he asked.
"Positive. They'll be fine," Willow answered.
Angel nodded. "Let's get started."
Xander, Cordelia and Oz had to wave herbs around. Angel sat on the bed and held onto Buffy. Willow was sitting in his leather arm chair, reading the spell. Soon, it was all over.
"Buffy?" Angel asked her softly.
She stirred, and opened her eyes. "Angel?" she asked, confused.
"Did it work?" Cordelia and Xander asked at the same time.
"Hopefully," Oz muttered.
Willow held her breath.
"I feel...different, weird. Stronger," Buffy said, sitting up.
"We made you immortal," Angel told her, softly. She nodded, accepting it.
"We aren't done yet," Willow said. They perforemd the ritual on Oz, Cordelia, then Xander, and Angel performed it on Willow. Angel was a little wary, but let Willow fully restore his soul, for good.
"Buffy! Are you ok?" her mother asked worriedly. Angel had brought Buffy home. She was still wearing the hospital gown, along with a leather jacket from Angel. Giles was also at her house, very upset.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she said, leaning on Angel.
"You did it, didn't you?" Giles asked quietly.
Angel looked at him. "Yes, I did. And they restored my soul, fully."
"And the others?"
"Immortal. You two can be, also," Angel said steadily. Buffy was so tired. she buried her head into his shoulder. He put an arm protectively around her and led her upstairs to bed.
Angel helped her change, not bothering to turn his back. She didn't care, it wasn't like he'd never seen her topless before.
"Are you upset?" he asked.
She shook her head. "No, I'm glad. Now I won't get all wrinkly."
"But you'll have to watch every mortal around you grow older, and die."
"It's the risk, I have to accept. Besides," she rubbed her belly, "it was worth it."
Buffy was being pushed into the delivery room. It was time. She looked around frantically for Angel, but he was nowhere to be found.
She'd been sitting at home when she went into labor. Her mother had driven her to the hospital, and was now calling Giles, Willow, Xander, Oz, Cordelia, and Angel.
"Push, Buffy, push!" Dr. Jameson instructed. They'd given her an epidermal so her entire body was numb. She'd experienced worse pain than this. She heard the sound of a baby crying. Soon, she had to do it all over again. The second was delivered.
"Miss Summers, you have a healthy boy and a girl. Congratulations."
Buffy sighed and leaned back against the bed. Soon, she was handed two small figures. One in pink, the other in blue. "I'll name them Jaide, and Julian," she decided aloud.
"That's perfect," came a soft voice from the doorway.
Buffy smiled. "Angel, come say hello."
He walked slowly towards them, eyeing the three carefully. "They're so small," he murmurred.
"You want to hold them?" she asked.
He nodded. A nurse came over and helped him place one in each arm. He looked at the two and kissed their forheads. The girl was smaller, more petit. She had brownish hair. The boy, who was bigger, had black fuzz on his head. They both had their eyes open, a crystal blue, and they stared intently at their father.
Angel then leaned down and swept his lips against Buffy's, amazed at how the whole birth process worked.
Buffy stepped inside Angel's apartment. He had invited her to live with him with Julian and Jaide. He'd cleaned up, and they were ready to go.
The first few nights they slept with the twins in Angel's bed. Eventually, they were moved to the small bassinet nearby. Angel took care of them at night, since he was still adjusting to human time. He was getting good at fatherhood.
It was a saturday night, and the twins were balling. Buffy got up and took Julian, and Angel comforted Jaide. He rocked her while Buffy breastfed Julian. Soon, they traded, and she repeated the process.
"They're so little," Angel said.
"They're a week old, of course they're little," Buffy replied.
He took a seat next to her. "It's just strange, I mean, we created them."
She smiled. "Yeah, we did."
Buffy had been back in the slaying game, against Angel's wishes. Her stomach was now smooth and taught, like it was before she was pregnant.
"Buffy?" Angel asked, sneaking up behind her in the graveyard.
"Don't do that!" she yelled playfully. "Didn't I tell you to yodel? Hey, where are the twins?"
"Your mom has them, I wanted to have you to myself for once," he told her. "Come on."
She followed as he led her to the park. Buffy sat on a swing, and Angel leaned against the bar. "Buffy, do you still love me?"
"Of course I do! I never stopped," she told him sincerely. He smiled. "I love you, too. That's why I wanted to ask you, if um, uh..."
"What?" she asked quizicaly.
"I want you to marry me," he asked. Buffy's eyes bulged out of her head.
"Whoa," she said.
"Yeah," he answered.
"Whoa," she repeated.
"Are you ok?" he asked.
"Whoa," she said a third time.
"Buffy, speak to me," he asked concerned.
"Sorry, I was thinking."
"Well? Will you?" he asked.
She nodded. "Yeah, why not?" she said grinning.
He picked her up off the swing, held her in the air, and slowly lowered her to his face where he kissed her passionately.
"Willow? Hi!" Buffy said into the phone.
"Buffy, what's up?" she asked.
"Hold on, I'm gonna try that 3-way dialing thing."
Buffy brought Cordelia on and delivered the news.
"Angel proposed to me," she said excitedly.
"What?" they both screeched.
"Did you accept?" Cordy asked.
"Duh! Of course!" she chatted and giggled with them for awhile. She asked Willow to be her Maid of Honor, Cordy to be a bridesmaid and dress designer. They both happily accepted.
Angel had called Xander, Oz, and Giles to the library.
"Yeah, Dead-boy, what's up?" Angel and Xander had become good buddies, so he ignored the comment.
"I asked Buffy to marry me, and she said yes," he told them.
"Way to go, Angel!" Oz said.
"Congrads!" Xander said.
"Yes, I wish the best of luck to you," Giles added.
He asked to Giles to be his Best man, and Oz and Xander would be groomsmen.
It was July 23rd, (Author's Note: That's my birthday =Þ) and it was time for the wedding. Buffy was wearing a long, silk gown in light blue. She was wearing a diamond silver tiara with a train. She had matching diamond earings, necklace, and braclet. Her sandals were white satin with a 3 inch heal. The boquet was mostly of lilacs and a lily with a bit of baby's breath.
She heard a knock on the door to the dressing room. "Buffy, it's me. Can I come in?" she heard Angel say. She opened the door.
"It's bad luck," she scolded.
He grinned and grabbed her around the waist. He covered her mouth with his like he'd done many times during their make out sessions in the graveyard.
They finally parted. "You look beautiful," he observed.
"You, too!" she exclaimed. He was wearing a black tux with his hair doing that spikey thing.
They both heard the sound of the bridesmaids approaching from the other door. Angel gave her one last kiss. "Later," he said. She watched as he slipped out the door.
The wedding was everything Buffy had dreamed of. They'd said their vows, and the "I dos," and exchanged rings. They decided on the Claddaggs. After that, they had the cake smashing, throwinmg of the boquet, the garter thing, and then they left. They were going to Ireland for their honeymoon.
Julian and Jaide were staying with Joyce, and everyone else promised to help out.
They stepped off the plain into the airport terminal. After finding their bags, they headed outside into the cool air of Dublin.
"Where were you born?" Buffy asked Angel.
"Galway, it's a ways away."
"It's nice here. Quiet, beautiful," Buffy observed.
Angel laughed. "I hated it. I wanted to see the world. I liked adventure."
"Has it changed?" Buffy asked.
He nodded. "Of course."
They took the airport shuttle to their hotel. It was a nice mansion with antiques. The employees wore traditional Irish clothing from about the time Angel was 17.
"Brings back memories," he told her with a smile. Now he remembered how ridiculous his clothing had been. Tight and ugly.
They were shown their room which was on the top floor. It was large with an oak canopy bed in the center. A huge dresser was on the right and the bathroom on the left. A mirror was in the corner and paintings decorated the walls. It was gorgeous.
They unpacked their clothing and decided to explore the grounds. Hand in hand, they walked outside.
"Angel, I love it here," Buffy breathed. "I can't believe you hated it."
He gently kissed her hand. "I was 18," he started.
"I'm 18," Buffy reminded him.
"Yes but much more mature than I was, and I wasn't exactly the saint of the house," he told her. "I never did my work, always ran off, fooled around with..." he stopped when he realized what he was saying.
Buffy turned to him and grinned. "Fooled around with what? Or should I say, whom?"
He smiled sheepishly. "The barsmaids, they were easy."
Buffy laughed. "You really were a bad boy."
"I'm told I was pretty good," he hinted.
"Really?" Buffy faked amazement.
"I'd love to hear your opinion," he hinted again.
"Well, I don't remember, it was a one night thing," she loved torturing him.
He pulled her back towards the house. "Maybe I could refreshen your memeory."
She stopped and said seriously. "I do not want to end up having triplets or something, Angel."
He laughed. "I got that covered."
They raced upstairs to their room.
The rest of the vacation was mainly spent in that room, particularily, the bed, but besides that, they explored the town, went for walks, and out for breakfast.
It was Friday, and they were on the plane that would take them home. Buffy leaned against Angel. "I wonder how everyone got along?" she asked.
He scowled. "You called them everyday, sometimes twice."
"Yeah, but it's my job to worry," she said.
"You're good at it."
He ducked when her hand went flying towards his face.
The whole gang, Giles, Xander, Willow, Cordy, Oz, Joyce, Julian, and Jaide were waiting at the airport terminal. Angel took both of his babies and kissed them softly before handing them to Buffy.
"Did you guys have fun?" Joyce asked her daughter.
"Yeah, it was great."
"I've always wanted to go to Europe," Cordelia sighed.
"I'll take you for our honeymoon," Xander said.
"What? Now we're getting married?" Cordy squealed.
"Just kidding!" Xander held up his hands. Then he whispered something into her ear. She giggled and they sped off.
"What's up with them?" Angel asked.
Willow filled them in. "Cordy's pregnant."
"Damn, domino affect," Buffy muttered.
They held a small party at Joyce's house in the backyard. Everyone was there, including Cordelia and Xander with their son, Nathan.
Julian had dark hair and was a younger image of his father. Jaide's hair was light brown and held the appearance of her mother. Both could walk, and were dazzling children.
"Julain! Jaide!" Buffy called to them. They were running around giggling with Nathan who was barely two.
They ran to their mommy who put a little hat on both of them. Buffy laughed. "They look so cute!" Julian wrinkled his nose and ditched the hat, much like Angel would have done, but Jaide was fine with it.
They had cake and ice cream, and the twins opened presents. It was time for another announcement. They'd had quite a few, like when Xander and Cordy decided to get married, and when Oz and Willow decided to. Now, it was another from Oz and Willow.
"Well, big shocker, but we're going to have a baby," Oz told everyone.
Willow gave birth on January 9th to a little girl which she named Jenny, after the late Ms. Calendar. Giles and Joyce who had gotten together 6 months before, were the first to congradulate her.
Buffy and Angel where next. "Will, she's beautiful!" Buffy exclaimed.
Angel agreed. "We wanted you two to be the first to know," Angel started looking at Willow and Oz. "That Buffy's pregnant again."
Everyone was excited about the news, especially Jaide and Julian who were going to have a new brother or sister.
The baby was a girl, Chelsea, and they had another boy after that, Devon. Xander and Cordy only had Nathan, but Willow and Oz had another girl, Melanie. Joyce and Giles never had any children in their old age, but the youngsters lived on forever as immortals. It was hard to go the funerals of Giles and Joyce, but as soon as each child was 17, they were given a choice to becoma immortal or not. Only Nathan and Melanie refused, and later got married.
