8-31-99:
I went to see "Blair Witch Project" and spotted an advance poster for "Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow". The tag line? "Heads will roll". It's not due out until November, but until then read this preview from Entertainment Weekly.
4-23-99:
Supposedly they are making a motion picture of Sleepy Hollow, starring Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane. I heard that Tim Burton is involved, and it will most likely be released around Halloween this year.

I also highly recommend other works by Washington Irving, the man who wrote "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". I just read "Rip Van Winkle" and "Golden Dreams" both of which have elements of the supernatural and are quite good.
