Daktari 1966
Unfortunately I do remember this African safari adventure. With Clarence the Cross-Eyed
Lion and Judy the Chimp, each episode seemed as boring as the last.
David Nixon's Magic Box 1968
The best TV magician, Paul Daniels eat your heart out.
(The) Dick Emery Show 1963
"Ooooh you are awful....but i like ya" This catch phrase
is still about in peoples minds. Overall this show was a chance for Dick Emery to dress up
and be several characters in short sharp bursts.
Dixon of Dock Green 1955
All I remember is the opening seen, where he springs his legs and
says "Evening all". 429 episodes were made.
Doctor at Large 1971
(The) Double Decker's 1971
This was about a gang of kids, 7 in total including a fat boy called Doughnut and a little
girl called Tiger because she always had a stuffed tiger with her. They solved crimes and
mysteries and explored areas all based from their clubhouse, a London Transport double
decker bus.
Dr Who 1963
(The) Dukes of Hazard 1979
Emmerdale Farm 1972
Emu's Broadcasting Company 197?
Fawlty Towers 1975
Felix the Cat 19??
Finger Bobs 197?
Finger Bobs, starring Finger Mouse, was another program presented by an ex-playschool presenter. The idea was to show
children something to make out of bits and bobs and then this new found craft was
infiltrated into a story involving Finger Mouse and friends.
(The) Flintstones 1961
In recent times a film has been made, which goes to show the success of this cartoon. With
Fred and Barney, stone age "Men Behaving Badly" the adventures run high. At one
stage this cartoon almost became soap opera status during the episodes leading up to them
having Pebbles and BamBam. Yabba-dabba-doo! Originally the Flintstones were to be called
The Flagstones but copyright problems got in the way.
(The) Flowerpot Men 1952
Part of the Watch with Mother set, this is probably the earliest of my memories of
childrens tv. Bill and Ben the flower pot men as they were fully known. It was all
flobadob and flibadob. Don't forget that Little W-e-e-e-d would keep these two in line.
The difficulty was telling them apart. 120 episodes were made.Bill and Ben were men made
out of flowerpots. A weed that grew near a garden shed kept lookout for them and guided
there shared brain cell.
(The) Funky Phantom
Wasn't this about a ghost of George Washington and a cat who joined up with some
American dudes and a beach buggy and solved Scooby Doo style
mysteries.
