Aside from Leroy, Danny was the only original kid from Fame left in the last series. Unlike Leroy, he never graduated! Thus, when he was asked by Bruno in Baby Remember My Name "Aren't you ever gonna graduate?" there was more than a chuckle from Fame fans!

Brother - Vinny, died before he was born. Has no other brothers or sisters.

Went through a very hard time when his mentor Mr Crandall died. (A Tough Act to Follow)

Had a crush on Nicole. ( Danny de Bergerac) Not helped when he ended up pretending to be her boyfriend to make Jesse look good!

Had a problem with uppers. (But Seriously Folks)

Wished for some of what Chris had in Stradi-Various - ended up with the girl and the gig! Who can forget his version of "Mack the Knife"?!

Got a job with a casting agent. (Broadway Danny Amatullo) Had to quit when it interfered too much with school and friendships.

Was in the same car as Nicole Chapman and Mikey Garth when Mikey crashed and Nicole died. Danny sustained some pretty bad injuries, but that was nothing compared to the guilt he felt over the death of his friend. (Go Softly into Morning)

Had major angst over having to play a love scene with Julie Miller, who was several inches taller than he was! A little creative staging solved the problem - they built a ramp, and were never on the same level at the same time! (To Saor and Never Falter)

Had a crisis of conscience in Consequences when marking papers and discovered that Chris had cheated. He wasn't sure what to do, but was saved a dilemma when Chris confessed to what he had done.

Ran for school president against Doris. (Czech-Mate) Faced with a choice between the two of them, the students voted for Dwight Mendenhall with an overwhelming majority.

Formed an act with Chris Donlon in Teamwork but the act was placed in jeopardy when Danny was offered work and Chris wasn't. For a time, Danny went along with it, but eventaully, loyalty to his friend won out.

Met one of his heroes, Bronco Bob, in the episode Bronco Bob Rides Again Helped him when his horse got loose in the school.
