Go Softly Into Morning
When I came to the School of the Arts, I made a vow....stay businesslike Bob, I said to myself, you get too involved with the kids.
But I'm not a businessman.
I'm a teacher.
I know more than their names. I have a glimpse of their dreams.
Then I have to take the bitter with the sweet, I have to feel the pain of their tragedies as if they were my own.
When something like this happens in my school, I suffer along with the others.
