This picture was taken of Michael on August 16, 1989, on the street across from the studio of "All My Children". My friend and I were visiting NYC and we decided to be `groupies`, hang out and see who came and went. I was really disappointed that we stood there for over an hour and NOBODY went in or came out. One of the other `groupies` told us that it wasn`t anywhere close to lunch break, so we decided to go on our way. Just as I was turning to go, I saw Michael bee-booping toward me! Yikes! Tad Martin! Well, I admit, I was so star struck and so thunderstruck that at first, I couldn`t utter one word, except "Tad!" Boy, did I feel stupid, frozen on the spot, like a ridiculous, conspicuous nut case. Then, as he was passing I managed to utter, "Hi." Real cool, huh? I was so mortified and would have thought my heart had stopped, except for the fact that it was beating so loudly, I was sure everyone on 66th Street could hear it! But naturally, Michael was cool. I caught a glimpse of him looking at my camera. I`m sure he was thinking,"Is this a camera or a goofy charm bracelet?' I jerked my camera up, but by now all I could do is see his back (granted that`s not too bad). But always the fan-conscientious guy, Michael turned around and gave me a smile and said, "Aren`t you gonna take my picture? Thanksfully, I was prepared.
