Most of the films of director David
Lynch are able to permeate a sense of anxiety from the extra calm surface
and make the auidence feel the evil under- current hidden in normal life.
Just imagine if Lynch has to cast some Hong Kong actors for his next project, who would be suitable? Kong Wa can be picked as male lead because he already possesses some kind of unique temperament which makes him appear to be a gentlement but somehow with flaws. His spontaneous and profound way of acting has provided him the potential in arousing the anxiety from the auidence. The dynamic images here are miserably beautiful which can be considered as an absolute inspiration by Lynch. |
