Story
KW plays the
role of a top-notch agent in Hong Kong's financial world, and he gets to
the top all by himself. Anne Heung is a mail-order bride who comes
from a poor family in Indonesia. The two meet each other on her flight
to Hong Kong. After she finds out that her marriage arrangement is actually
a fraud, she has nowhere to go but seeks for shelter from KW, who
has no love feeling for her at that time. One day, KW gets drunk
and unconsciously makes love to her. However, he does not want to be responsible
or make any commitment for what he has done, because he considers her not
good enough for him. Sometime later, KW comes across one big investment
failure. It has totally destroyed his reputation in the business and it
is unlikely that he can regain what he has lost. So he has decided to let
go the burden of being rich and famous. He chooses to live a simple life
as a city farmer and earns his living by working on some pressure-free
jobs, such as washing cars etc. Heung does not know where KW
has
gone and she has to search everywhere for him, in order to be with him
for the rest of her life. What will be the ending? It is said to be a "happily-ever-after"
one. ^_^

Today, the first
tape finally comes to the video rental store. It is a light-hearted drama
which can give a few laughs at intervals. KW obviously has gained back
some weight making him look younger. But the most exciting thing is....
he sings the theme song for the series!!!! So, unlike his other TVB series
such as Crimson Sabre and Seven Sisters, we can hear him sing both in the
beginning and at the end of each episode of this series.... YEAH!!!!!! |
