Alonzo Solace is the principal pilot of the Eden ship, and was definitely not supposed to land on G-889. He was born in 2105 on the stations ( he states himself that he is 109 or 110 years old , but having passed almost 85 years in cold-sleep. That is why we can supposed is now about 25 years old).
He is an adventuere, always looking for new challenges. He appears also as a true lady killer, and has a playboy reputation. But in reality, he is a very kind and romantic guy.
He is completly in love with Julia Heller (the doctor of the crew) and really seems to want to build a serious relationship with her. But because of the uncertain situation on G-889 he doesn't want to think too much about future.
