Devon Adair is the leader of the Eden project. It is herself who decided to undertake the travel to G-889 in hope of saving her sick son born with the "Syndrome".
She was born in 2158 (so, we are guessing she is 34 years old in 2192 just before the cold-sleep) in a rich family.
She is an authorative woman and an overprotecting mother always anxious about her boy's health.
She is often in conflict with John Danziger (the hi-tech mecanician), but actually she likes him a lot, and John appears to be a very helpfull man to her.
