V-Mon and Gomamon VS Machop and Squirtle
The two teams started out on oppisite sides of the aquarium, which wasn't
unlike one you'd see at a place like Seaworld. All the other marine life had
gone from it. V-Mon and Machop had their scuba equipment on, with the aquatic
combatants having nothing, as was agreed before the fight began. The teams
could barely see each other from the oppisite sides, making menacing stares
and other forms of imtimidation rather useless. After what seemed like an
eternity, the starter's gun fired, and both teams hit the water, heading for
the other side, hoping to find their opponents there.
Both teams, however, hit cave entrances not too far along. With no real
recourse, they went through the entrances, not quite knowing what to
expect....
V-Mon and Gomamon were the first to find an unusual floor in the cavern floor,
leading to a lower part of the arena. With some hesitation, they decided to
check down there. They quickly exited the caves, and saw open water with
sediment and some rocky area in the new area. They decided to split off and
look for their enemies separately. Soon after though, Machop and Squirtle
found the hole in the cave floor, and followed it. When they came out, a
quick survey of the area showed them V-Mon and Gomamon in different places.
Machop headed after V-mon, and Squirtle Gomamon, hoping to get a surprise
attack.
V-mon looked around before setting himself down on the ground to take in his
surroundings. Taking the time to pay attention to everything around him, he
noticed Machop as he came down from above at him. V-Mon started trying to
swim backwards to put some distance between him and Machop, knowing that he
may do better with lunging moves than going toe to toe with the muscle
pokemon. However, Machop was closing in, trying to get the first shot in...
Figuring he might as well give it a shot, V-mon came to a hault, planted his
feet on the ground and started spinning his arms at an extremely rapid pace,
his Boom Boom Punch. Caught off guard, some off the punches hit Machop as he
comes in, rocking his mask to the side a bit. He re-adjusted his mask, and as
soon as V-Mon came out of his move, he went for a Karate Chop over the top of
V-Mon's head, to try to end it early. However, V-mon dodged off to the side,
and the attack hit nothing but rock. V-mon floated back down to the ground
again before using it to propell himself forward, fist held out. V-Mon made
solid contact with the extended fist, and actually managed to knock Machop to
the ground. He then jumped on top of him, pulling at his aqualung, trying to
yank it out.
After a lot of struggling, V-mon finally forces the aqualung from Machop's
mouth. Now holding his breath, he was now focusing on either killing V-mon
quick, or getting his aqualung back, then helping Squirtle. Of course, not
willing to waste any time, V-mon promptly started sending his powerful fists
into Machop's body repeatedly. Machop, having such a high constitution, was
able to resist much of this effort, but it was still speeding up his demise...
V-Mon was still holding on to his aqualung, but he seemed to have dropped his
guard with the one in his mouth. Machop decided to try to turn the tables by
taking V-Mon's aqualung. V-mon noticed Machop heading for his aqualung and,
not having much else to hit him with on such short notice, braced his mouth to
hold the aqualung in as best as possible and slammed his head against Machop's
arm. Machop yelled out on instinct, and that was the final nail in his watery
coffin. Only about 5 seconds later, Machop drowned. With his enemy taken
care of, V-Mon let go of his enemy's aqualung and moved to try to aid Gomamon.
When V-Mon got there, he saw Gomamon had control already. Squirtle was hiding
in his shell, and Gomamon had summoned his fish to eat Squirtle inside his
shell. However, Squirtle had countered this by spinning hmself inside his
shell, very rapidly, creating a moving wall of water too powerful for the
first to get in his holes. V-Mon had an idea.... V-mon swam over Squirtle,
then dove down onto his shell and planted his feet on the ground to try and
bring it to a stop. After some effort, Squirtle began to slow. This gave the
fishes enough room to go in, and do their work. They wasted no time in almost
chewing Squirtle down to the bone... pretty soon, the fishes came out, and the
shell floated around, with some Squirtle bones floating out. Notch one up for
the Digimon.
