Last time: Sonic has captured and forced to walk to a giant robotic utopia.
But he was saved by a yellow duck named Bean. Bean got Sonic into a secret
underground tunnel to escape from the swat bots. When Sonic said that he came
from knothole, Bean replied that Knothole had been destroyed 3 years ago!

“What?” said sonic in surprise. “I said Knothole village was destroyed 3
years ago.” repeated Bean. “B-But that’s impossible! I was just there!” said
Sonic stunned. “Which brings me to my final question, how did you get here?”
asked Bean. Sonic then told his whole story. How Knothole was attacked, how
he was captured, and how he was forced to travel to the metallic city. Bean
listened intently. After Bean had heard every thing he said, “Well for one,
that metallic city is Rotoplolis. And that portal wasn’t just any portal
cause that was one of Roters Trans dimensional portals. Instead of zones,
they are a way to whole other realities!” Sonic rolled this over in his head.
“So what your telling me is that I was captured and taken to another world.!”
said Sonic. “First of all it’s dimension. And as far as being in one, yes you
are. And as far as I can tell, you won’t be going back anytime soon.” said
Bean. Sonic sat down. This was way to much for him. “Come on, we can’t just
sit around, we still have a lot of crawling to do.” said Bean. Sonic started
to crawl again. Then he realized something. “Bean, didn’t you say Roter was
the one that opened the portal?” asked Sonic. “That’s right.” answered Bean.
“But why would Rotor open up a trans dimensional portal and let robot’s come
into my world?” asked Sonic. “Probably to help his evil schemes. Tried to get
a few Mobians to DNA robotize.” answered Bean. “Why would Rotor do something
like that?” “Because he’s evil and wants to rule the planet.” said Bean.
“No way!” yelled Sonic. “Shut up” whispered Bean. Robotic footsteps were
heard above them. Bean and Sonic were silent. The marching went on for what
seemed like hours. Sonic held his breath. After a few minute the noise
stopped. Bean said, “Don’t yell like that you imbecile! This tunnel tube
isn’t sound proof you know. Yell like that and it’s like saying ‘Hey
everybody, come and take me to my cruel, agonizing, death’!” “My names not
imbecile, it’s Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog.” said Sonic. “Well Sonic, keep your
lip zipped and I’ll tell you every thing about this dimension” said Bean
before he went into his story.
“ It started long ago. An evil dictator named Robotnick came to the kingdom
of Acorn. He served as our war lord and helped use bet back the overanders.
But then he betrayed us. He took the roboticizer that one of the King’s
scientist had made and modified it to be a weapon, that could change blood
and fur into nut’s and bolt’s.” Bean stopped talking. “How much of this
retains for your world Sonic?” he asked. “All of it.” answered Sonic. “ Good,
then you may be ready for the shock that comes ahead.” said Bean.
“ The freedom fighter’s were formed. I one of them. We fought against
Robotnick for years. Then one day, our lead scientist, Rotor, went to
Robotropolis alone and without notice and never came back. The next month we
found out that Rotor had joined Robotnick. Rotor shared his new invention
that he had been working unseen on. The DNA roboticizer. Instead of just
turning the Mobian robot, it takes the DNA out of the creature and stores
it’s exact features into Robotnicks main computer so it can make hundreds of
the same Mobian, only Robotic. And with no chance for free will. The original
Mobian dies and is thrown into Robotnicks inferno chamber. The only reason we
can think of for his actions are madness. Rotor never was quite right in the
head, but none would have suspected him of this. Except, maybe Antoine.” told
Bean. “Sounds like Ant does know some things in this dimension.” said Sonic.
Sonic continued, “This all comes a great shock to me. Rotor was one of my
best buds in my world. An any zone, no matter how strange or whacked out it
was has ever come close to the horror of this place.” “I take it you don’t
want to hear anything else about this dimension right now huh?” asked Bean.
“No not right now.” answered Sonic. Bean and Sonic crawled in silence. Sonic
realized it was day when he noticed the sides of the metal tunnel getting
warmer. “ Hey Bean, if it’s taking so long to get where were going, how did
you get to Robotropolis so fast?” asked Sonic. “I took a stealth cycle. Makes
it impossible for any sensors to see or pick you up. Plus they go pretty darn
fast. But I accidentally left it near the tunnel entrance that we used to get
in.” said Bean. “Well where’s the next opening in this pipe line?” asked
Sonic. “Right above us in about 10 seconds. Why?” answered Bean. “Just follow
me.” said Sonic. Sonic pushed up the top of the tunnel came up. Sonic got out
side and stretched and told Bean to come on out. “What’s the meaning of
this?” asked Bean. “Oh, were just gonna take a short cut okay? Grab my hand,
tell me where to go, and well be there in mere minutes.” Bean grabbed Sonics
hand. Sonic started to rev up. Then he shot of with Bean dangling behind.
“Wow, I’m surprised. Most people would be bugging out right about now.” said
Sonic. “ Yeah well, I ain’t just another person, I’m a freedom fighter.” said
Bean. “So was I.” said Sonic. “Really?” “Yeah. Which reminds me, you still
didn’t tell me how knothole was destroyed.” said Sonic.
“Well, Robotnick messed up one of Rotors plan’s big time one to many times
and Rotors flipped again. Rotor flung Robotnick into the inferno and took
control himself. He then created a brand new Ultimate Annihilator based on
Robotnicks original ideas. But instead of oar, it required a single chaos
emerald. One day at freedom fighting headquarters our emerald was discovered
missing. Luckily Antoine had been on stealth duty that day and was able to
hear about the plan. But by the time he got back it was too late. The UA’s
beam was heading strait at use. Our freedom fighting base wasn’t in knothole
so we survived. But not many civilians were that lucky. A few escaped though,
an they now live in headquarters. All the freedom fighters remember that day
3 years ago. And we will never forgive Rotor for betraying us, for
slaughtering our people. For destroying our home. He’s slowly been conquering
other lands too. Including Zones and inter dimensional transportation. His
forces are growing larger and it’s near impossible to do anything against
him. But we still try. We still try.” said Bean. Sonic looked at him. Instead
of the tough guy face he usually wore, he looked pained. Because of the
memory of that day. Sonic asked no more.
