CHANCE (V.O.)
Last time on Strange Luck . . .
EXT. FARM FIELD - DAY

CHANCE HARPER is driving a tractor down a field. Farmer TONY REYES squats next to him, whistling some non-descript tune. His melody is interrupted by a LOUD metallic CLANG. The men LURCH on the tractor. Chance hastily throttles down and stops and the two men jump to the ground.

CUT TO:
EXT. FARM FIELD - CHANCE AND REYES BEHIND THE TRACTOR - DAY
CHANCE
        (incredulous)
What in the world . . .

REYES

        (interrupts, shaking his head)
Well I’ll be damned!
P.O.V. continues to rise to a point several feet above them until they pass out of frame, finally revealing the object in the ground that has captured their attention - a huge BONE partially visible, the remainder still buried. A few shards of the bone lay nearby, shattered when the plow struck it. P.O.V. close on the bone from the aerial vantage, the marks from the plow clearly visible.
CUT TO:
EXT. MUSEUM - AREA OUTSIDE FRONT DOORS - DAY
WAINRIGHT (CONT.)
My name is Robert Wainright. On behalf of the Xa Museum of Natural History I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out today to celebrate the grand opening of our new, exciting dinosaur exhibit, featuring the awesome Tyrannosaurus Rex, the mightiest predator of the dinosaurs.
THE CROWD applauds and nods.
CUT TO:
INT. JEWELRY STORE - DAY

STONY AND RED move swiftly, working their way toward the CASH REGISTER at the FRONT of the store. Stony smashes jewel cases with his gun and scoops out jewels in a black sack held by Red as they go.

CUT TO:
EXT. JEWELRY STORE - DAY

STONY exits the jewelry store, hiding his gun under his shirt in the small of his back. BART and RED are standing on the sidewalk outside, guns no longer visible. As soon as Stony emerges they all sprint down the street and turn a corner into an alley.

CUT TO:
INT. MUSEUM NEAR FRONT DOOR - DAY

Bart takes his gun back out of his waistband. Red pulls pistol from the small of his back. Both men cover the crowd.

STONY
        (wicked smile, imitates airline pilot)
Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Captain speaking. We’ve had to make a sudden change in our flight plan due to . . . unforeseen turbulence, so it looks like you’re going to be staying with us a while. We hope this won’t be too much of an inconvenience for you, but if it is . . .
         (pauses, then yells)
. . . too bad!
FADE OUT
